“I cried tears of relief when I received your generous grant. I am a widow. My children live far away and struggle with serious issues of their own. I have not been able to work at my main source of income (real estate) during treatment. The part that blew me away was that during the application process I was asked how much I needed. I didn’t know what to ask for and I didn’t want to be selfish since so many need help, so I asked for $200.00. Then I received the grant gift cards and you gave me $750.00! Your grant, which was much needed and has sustained me over several months of groceries and gas, went beyond the practical onto a spiritual level of encouragement.”

There were days I just stayed in bed, not even able to get up and fix a meal for myself. I worried. A lot. There was much loss of income, many medical bills. My immediate family was not in a financial position to help.”

I could fill my gas tank for the many trips to the doctor. I was able to get healthy groceries, which are more expensive than unhealthy food as we all know. I didn’t worry about purchasing better quality produce and proteins, which all aided in my recovery.”
