Donate your gently loved furnishings, home decor, women’s clothing, and accessories to the Hope Chest Resale Store and feel good about the difference you’re making. We can take the following items:
Clothing + Accessories
- Gently used, like-new women’s designer brand clothing, shoes, handbags & jewelry
- New designer women’s clothing from retail vendors
- Current or timeless styles purchased recently or within last 3-5 years
- Designer vintage apparel & accessories
- Items must be laundered or dry cleaned and free of rips, tears or stains

No. We are 100% donation driven. We accept personal, retail and corporate donations.
Yes. All items accepted are inventoried and itemized on your account. If there are items that do not meet the criteria of Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Resale Store, we will pass it along to one of the local charities we partner with. Donor statements are available early January for the previous tax year. Please note: it will be your responsibility to assign the amount for items donated.
When donations come from a retailer, we prefer them to have tags on them listing the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Items received without tags are sourced in depth online for original MSRP and current resale value. Once we establish an MSRP, we will price accordingly based on condition of item.
Yes! You may call (952) 471-8700 or email (orono@hopechest.com) to arrange a pick-up of your donated goods for a fee. We appreciate photos of larger furniture items in advance to ensure that we have or can allocate space in the store for those items. When you purchase your treasure at one of our stores, you can arrange a delivery at check-out for a fee. Pick-ups and deliveries are made Tuesdays through Thursdays.
All items sold at Hope Chest Resale Store are final and as-is. Please measure for furniture, take pictures and thoughtfully choose your items. We can hold items through the end of the day, if you need extra time.
