Rosemount PD Pink Patch Project

In 2017, the Rosemount Police Department became the first law enforcement agency in Minnesota to join the nationwide Pink Patch Project. The Pink Patch Project is a charity campaign designed to raise cancer awareness by Law Enforcement agencies nationwide during the month of October. The goal is to generate awareness by wearing and raise money for the cause.

  • Officers wear very distinctive Pink Patches on their police uniform.
  • Police marked squad cars display special Pink Patch Project license plates. (The plates were graciously donated by Rosemount Carbone’s Pizza and Pub and are exclusive to the Rosemount Police Department.)
  • Pink Patches, challenge coins and other Rosemount Police themed items are sold to the public during the month of October to raise money for research, treatment, and education for finding a cure for breast cancer. The proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society.

The Rosemount Police department is holding a raffle for Pink Patch merchandise October 1- 31. Tickets can be purchased in the lobby area.
