Cheryl Butz Board Treasurer

Cheryl’s experience as an accountant includes working as a Finance Director and Human Resources Director in the not-for-profit community of the Twin Cities area for the last 30+ years. She was educated at St Thomas University as well as Metropolitan State University. Much of her work experience has been with employees, benefits, and staffing, as well as the accounting necessary to make sound decisions for the nonprofits management. Having served on the Board of Directors as staff and as a board member, she works closely with contract accountants and auditors, assisting in the preparation and presentation of final financial reporting, plus, prepares reports presented to the Board of Directors. As a musician she plays flute and sings on a regular basis. She is dedicated to the organizations that she works or volunteers with.
